New Update for Petero's Tome

Hi everyone,

We are grateful for your ongoing support and patience during our challenges. 

Over the past few months, we have been working tirelessly to recover from the numerous setbacks we faced in 2023. We've been putting in tremendous effort to get things back on track to ensure the fulfilment of our projects. I'm pleased to share some positive news and updates with you all.

Petero's Tome of Adventure.

First things first -  a few close-ups so you can see the quality of the test prints for yourselves (I do have a video, but I'm having trouble with my link. Once I get that sorted I'll get that uploaded). The quality and color on the prints are stunning.

I don't yet have dates for the print run of Petero's Tome,but this is being worked on for the latter half of 2024.

Physical Rewards

The remaining physical rewards for this project will follow after the print run and we will be fulfilling this in stages. We require a few more sample runs of a couple of these physical items before they can be finalized for manufacturing.

Bracken's Whirlpool

Bracken's Whirlpool adventure is going to layout in the latter half of June (yay!). There are a couple of outstanding pieces of art for this one that will be back in the next two weeks ready for that layout magic to happen. 

Final Words

There are one or two people going to great lengths to ensure that we do not complete or fulfil projects such as Petero's Tome. I won't pretend to understand why and I won't be engaging with those people for the singular reason that it steals time and brain power from what matters the most - completing and fulfilling projects.  

Did we run into a series of unfortunate events in 2023 that pretty much ground us to a halt? Absolutely! And we've made no secret about this. Things are slow, but they're slowing getting back on track. At no point have we abandoned ship nor will we.

Dear Backers,

I hope this message finds you well.

We appreciate your ongoing support and commitment to our project.

Given some recent discourse, I want to provide an honest update on where things are at.

Over the last eight months, our company has unexpectedly faced several heavy blows, creating something of a perfect storm. We want to be fully transparent with you and our greater community on the reality of the situation both to manage expectations in terms of timelines and provide reassurance for any concerns. 

We continue to progress projects as quickly as we can against the rising costs since Covid and other challenges. For example, as you might already be aware from other updates and our newsletter, our Facebook ads accounts were disabled, our website was deleted, and social media content and platforms were destroyed in Q4 2023. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

We are a family-run business based in Ireland with a small team and these challenges have knocked us off balance to say the least.

Things have been made even more difficult by individuals formerly associated with the business jeopardizing the livelihoods of our small team of employees and the fulfilment of our projects.

Luck of the Irish? Not here…

In some ways, it would be easier to admit defeat and shut everything down.

But that isn’t who we are!

We’ve committed to these projects (and to you), and as long as it might be taking, we ARE bring open projects to completion.

But first, we need to get things back on track after the year that was 2023.

Our small team is working tirelessly to recover and I couldn’t be prouder or more grateful to be surrounded by such incredible people.

To ensure we can deliver on our promises and close out open projects, we’re dedicating February and March to regrouping and figuring out the details for how we’ll proceed for the rest of 2024. During this period, we won’t have as much time to respond to comments/emails, but please understand that this decision is crucial for the long-term success of open projects.

Our commitment to transparency means that we will provide a detailed breakdown of our plans and strategies for 2024 by the end of February. 

We know we’re talking about less communication for a little while when communication hasn’t exactly been stellar in the first place. But focussing on regrouping will ensure we honor our promises and deliver on our commitments.

We want to express our gratitude for the understanding and grace our creative partners and the community have already extended. We acknowledge that frustrations can run high, especially concerning slowness in closing out projects. However, we want to assure you that we fight diligently to preserve what we have built over the years, and we refuse to let those seeking to undermine our efforts succeed 

Petero's Tone of Adventures Update

As you know, the PDF was completed some time ago and we have received samples of the physical book and are delighted with it. 

I will be sharing some videos and photos of the print in the coming weeks to give you a close up of the quality - it is so beautiful!

We've identified a number of areas within that require some additional artwork and possible tweaks to layout, the team will continue to work on these areas for the full print run happens.

We also continue to work with our manufacturers on the physical rewards specifications for this project.

Hello Adventurers

I've got another update for you on Petero's Tome of Adventure. By now, you should all have received your PDF copies. If you have not, by all means get in touch and we will investigate.

We are awaiting the arrival of a number of samples including the various hardbacks and physical rewards from our manufacturer.

We're very eager to get some photos and videos to share with you as soon as they arrive. 

We are so delighted with how well Petero's has been received and we appreciate all of the feedback we've received so far. One shots are our jam and what could be better than a book absolutely filled with them!
